Shubhra Jain teaches yoga classes at Harrow Arts Centre, the arts venue on Uxbridge Road in Hatch End. Classes and workshops here are open to adults and children, and you don’t need any previous yoga experience to begin.
Classical Hatha Yoga is yoga in its traditional form. Shubhra teaches it as it is taught in the Isha tradition: one practice at a time, with clear instruction and personal corrections, so that you can continue the practice on your own at home. Groups are kept small so she can see every student and help with the details that matter.
Harrow Arts Centre is easy to reach from Hatch End, Pinner, Harrow Weald, Headstone, Carpenders Park and Stanmore, and from across north-west London by Overground.
Whichever practice you choose, review workshops and guided sessions may be available to help you refine your technique and maintain a steady home practice.
Alongside the one-off classes and workshops on the calendar above, we also run Weekly Children's Yoga Sessions at Harrow Arts Centre. Please find more details about these regular sessions on this page.
Every child’s journey begins here. This 3-Day Children’s Yoga Workshop introduces authentic Classical Hatha Yoga and provides the foundation required before progressing to weekly classes and follow-on programmes.
Weekly Sunday classes to gently reinforce the foundations of asana, pranayama and meditation, while gradually introducing children to the deeper aspects of Classical Hatha Yoga.
Learn the complete 21-step Surya Kriya sequence and breathing technique. This powerful yet meditative practice supports strength, flexibility, vitality, balance and a sustainable home practice.
Build a steady and meaningful Hatha Yoga practice through cohort-based weekly classes. Learn selected practices gradually, including Upa Yoga, Surya Shakti and elements of Yogasanas, with support to become established before progressing.
Learn 21 classical Hatha Yoga postures held with precision and awareness. Yogasanas align the body, mind and energy system and prepare the body for deeper states of stillness and meditativeness.
Discover Angamardana, a powerful system of classical Hatha Yoga. Suitable for ages from 8 years old, the dynamic practice develops strength, endurance, flexibility and mental resilience using only your own body.
Nurture your body, calm your mind, and connect with your baby through Isha prenatal yoga workshops. Available in-person or online, as Single Sessions or Full Modules.
Each practice is a complete system with a different emphasis. Tell us about your experience, schedule and goals and we’ll help you choose a suitable place to begin.
