Shubhra is a Classical Hatha Yoga teacher, former finance professional, and advocate for bridging ancient wisdom with modern science. After earning a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Finance from Imperial College London she began her career in banking. Committing to a major shift, in 2023, she left her finance career and journeyed to India, where she underwent over 1,750 hours of intensive Classical Hatha Yoga teacher training at the Isha Yoga Centre, founded by Sadhguru. This experience reshaped her understanding of Yoga, revealing it not just as a physical practice, but as a profound science of inner wellbeing and human potential.
THE MISSION
Today, Shubhra’s mission sits at the intersection of Yoga, science and the modern lifestyle. Shubhra is focused on making these yogic practices accessible to others, empowering individuals to incorporate these tools into their daily lives and reconnecting with themselves all in practical and sustainable ways. Through one-to-one sessions, group workshops, guided programmes, retreats, online content and community events, she offers tailored practices and wider opportunities for growth to support a range of people. Her approach is grounded in personal experience, scientific insight, and a deep respect for tradition.
